Choose tasteful and discrete, formal and informal portraits by Susan Brandt Graham, an MD and Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, a PhD social anthropologist, mother, and photographer.
Susan will work with you to produce the memories you wish to preserve of this very special time in your life.
Husbands, partners, and/or children may participate in your portrait creation session and be included in your portraits, if you wish. Or, you may choose to be photographed alone.
Scheduling Your Portrait Session
The best time for a maternity session is usually between 32 and 36 weeks (earlier if you are carrying twins or triplets). Depending on your needs and our schedule, we may be able to do a "last minute" work-in for moms-to-be who were too busy to find time for their portraits. Call 884-9488 to inquire.
The best time for newborns is while they are still in the "curly" stage, around 2 weeks. If we miss that particular time, we'll just do infant portraits, which most families want in addition to newborn portraits anyway.
May 7, 2011: Susan is temporarily not doing any portrait work because of some medical issues with her hands that limit the amount of time she can work with her camera. She will post here when she is again able to do portrait photography. Thanks for understanding.
